▎精油简介
粉红莲花(Nelumbo nucifera)又叫做印度莲花、神圣莲花，或印度之豆。莲科莲属，多年生草本出水植物，原产于古印度，后来从越南到阿富汗都有，一般分布在中亚，西亚、北美，印度、中国、日本等亚热带及温带地区，有超过800个栽培品种。莲花可以用种子或根茎繁殖，特别的是，其种子莲子可以存活上千年。有科学家培育了一些有千年历史的莲子，繁殖出来的荷花依然生机盎然 。在中国的大连市普兰店区曾出土过千年前的古莲子。在中国郑州大河村仰韶文化遗址中发现的两枚古莲子，有超过3000年历史，但是过于珍贵，未进行栽培试验。
莲花喜好高热高湿的环境，在温带分布的品种于冬天时的泥土上常绿部位会枯萎，藕茎会膨大。而热带的品种多为常绿部位不枯萎，藕茎膨大不明显。莲花象征耐心与和平。它生长在淤泥中，会在水面上开出硕大华美的花朵，伸展平宽的叶片，花朵可能是粉红色、白色或蓝色，花朵飘散出独特的清香，在佛教文化中，也像征着永生与超然。财富女神拉克希米被称为「吉祥天女」，集财富、华丽、丰饶、繁衍、生命力等特质于一身，她手持粉红色莲花，因此粉红莲花也像征会带来好运。
莲花原精需要陈放，才能凝炼出香气，粉红莲花原精是一种深粉红色的黏稠液体，香气馥郁清香和清甜，给人一种安详典雅的感觉。
